Could Detroit Be The New Boston?

Michigan sports are crawling out of the doldrums and haven’t looked this promising in our lifetime.

– The Lions have come out to a 4-0 start and will be on Monday Night Football for the first time in over a decade.  The Lions fans deserve this after the ineptitude they’ve had to deal with.  It’s also quite strange what happens when you sh*t-can a crappy GM like Matt Millen…

– The Tigers have a 2-1 lead over the hated, despised, New York Yankees.  Go Doug Fister!

– Last but not least, the 5-0 Michigan Wolverines are ranked 12th by the Associated Press.  Denard “Shoelace” Robinson is my favorite college football player this year.  He’s electric.  (Yeah, It’s cliché, I’m aware)

Hopefully the recent success doesn’t turn Detroit sports fans into a bunch of insufferable pricks…  I’m looking at you Boston.
